My gosh, it really has been a while. I have loads of good excuses though.
First there was training for my new job (excitement! It was fabulous), then there was the craziness of moving house (more excitement! Albeit with a bit more stress and a lot less fabulousness, at least until everything was finally unpacked), which took way longer than I was expecting in terms of the packing, the cleaning and the unpacking (why do I always think we'll be able to do everything in about eight days? We've moved a lot, I should know better). Throw in a new job for Adam (he started today, wish him luck), recruiting a nanny for the boys (she is just wonderful, perfect for our family) and trying, the whole time, to keep on top of my ever expanding Etsy shop (seriously. Full time job. How did that happen?)
Suffice to say I am horribly behind in bees, blog posts and anything else that wasn't essential to our move. I'm so sorry to anyone who is waiting for a block from me - I promise they are top of my priority list for this week and will be in the post by the weekend. Honest guv'.
That rather pathetic picture up top is the only one I had time to snap quickly of Danielle's blocks before sending them off (late, of course). Gallingly, I actually made them about a month ago, but packed them by mistake and it's taken them this long to emerge from cardboard box hell.
And I have not one, but two overdue blocks for my lovely Brit Bee girls (Hi! I've missed you all so much while we have been in the land of no Internet!). The bones of the blocks have finally been unpacked, so I'm hoping to get those out this week.
