A Twitter conversation the other day highlighted the fact that I am not the only one who increasingly uses the camera on their iPhone rather than an actual camera. I think the quality of my iPhone is comparable to my less-than-clever point and shoot camera, and I'm a lot more likely to have it to hand in any given situation.
I do aspire to one day upgrade to a digital SLR (or at least a slightly better camera than our current one) for some of my fancier shots, but for now I actually quite like the ease and snappiness of shooting with my phone. I have decided to stop feeling guilty about this, and actually use some of the photos on here. Any good iphone photo app recommendations (I'm thinking I'd quite like something with instagram type filters, but without the posting-on-instagram aspect) much appreciated.
Speaking of instagram, I also share an awful lot of photos there (I'm @lifeinlists), and I love flicking through the shots of the people I follow on there when I've got a few moments to kill here and there.
Where does your photo loyalty lie? Are you a die hard SLR fan? Owner of the perfect point and shoot? Or a phone-camera-compromiser?
