I've made a fair number of baby quilts recently and other stash-busting projects recently, and my available fabric choice was beginning to look a little bit sad (I hate having to wait for fabric to arrive when I want to start a new project), so I figured I'd do a bit of re-stashing with some of the prints I've been eyeing up but not quite managing to buy for a while.
Architextures is all Hadley's fault - her architextures cathedral windows looked so fab at Retreat that I couldn't resist. Erin Michael's reprint of Lush was too good to resist - all those little paint samples! - so I split an order from Pink Castle fabrics with Kerry. The green Suzuko Koseki print is one I've wanted for a while (has anyone else noticed how hard it is to get decent green prints? Impossible, I tell you) and the cross stitch and rulers are from Hipster by Shannon Lamden - seriously clever little prints, I really like them and can't wait till Shannon (inevitably) designs some more commercial fabric. Her screen print designs are amazing too. And one or two other random prints for good luck.
I've got a couple more prints coming from Sew Me a Song coming (as soon as Royal Mail release them, now I've paid the evil customs charge), and then my re-stash will be complete for another few months. Does anyone else buy fabric in splurges, then not buy any for months? This fabric, combined with my Retreat haul, is the first time I've bought more than the very occasional fat quarter for a year or more.
